Chicago
is the most famous of all the cities in Illinois, and with good
reason. It is the crown jewel of the Midwest, after all. But other
Illinois cities can show visitors a good time, too. Springfield
is the state’s historic state capitol, and Galena
has a lovely downtown area.
Champaign
County:
You’ll get a kick out of Champaign thanks
to it’s museums, sporting events and lively nightlife.
Chicago:
The world may think of New York when in thinks of the
US, but the great city of Chicago may be the most fundamentally
American.
Galena:
The onetime home of President and General Ulysses S. Grant,
Galena is a little slice of history on the banks of the Mississippi.
Springfield:
Springfield, Illinois is the capitol of the state and
the Abraham Lincoln capitol of the United States. |
