Wilson beach also known as Montrose beach in Cooks County covers a large area on the north side beach. It is among the few beaches which allows launching non-motorized watercraft such as kayaks and catamarans into lake Michigan. The specialty of the beach is that it allows access to dogs. So this place has become a paradise for the dog lovers. The beach was once a a private beach but now it has been opened for public. The beach has made a record of 2 million visitors on a day. |
