The Coeur dAlene Lake Parkway lies along the north shore of Lake Coeur dAlene following the North Idaho Centennial Trail east from Coeur dAlene to Higgens Point. At Higgens Point there is a boat launch facility and a group picnic area overlooking the lake and moorage docks. Over one half-mile of public shoreline parallels the path. Also available are an exercise course, roadside picnic tables, restroom facilities and benches for those who wish to stop and just enjoy the lake view. In addition, Higgens Point offers a group use area available by reservation April through October. From Bennett Bay area, the soaring Veterans Memorial Bridge on Interstate 90 is visible.
