The gondola at the Silver Mountain Ski Area in Idaho stretches for 3 miles, taking skiers directly from Interstate-90 at Kellogg to Mountain Haus at 5,700 feet. From there guests take a 1,000-foot ride on a triple chair to the top of Kellogg Peak. Here they will find 1,500 acres of excellent Idaho skiing terrain on the north-facing slopes of this magnificent recreational mountain.
The mountain is 40 percent advanced and expert ski terrain, and a total of 67 trails on 2,200 feet of vertical, with 6 lifts and a short surface tow on beginner terrain. There are also lots of wonderful amenities at Silver Mountain Ski Area, such as free ski check and wax at Mountain Haus. |
