It's so uncrowded, locals complain if they have to wait more than a minute or two to jump on a chair. After a fresh helping of Rocky Mountain powder (average 300 inches) you can make fresh tracks down Wardner Peak all morning. Silver Mountain has been favorably compared to Telluride before the crowds arrived.
