The campgrounds here are very good. This popular destination does not sport very many lodgings in the immediate vicinity. So you should book rooms in advance if you plan to be here. July is the month with the least moisture. Summertimes usually have highs in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's.
You could explore Squaw Bay or even Honeysuckle Beach that are close by. Fernan Creek is a heavenly stream thats worth visiting. Heyburn State Park located close at hand adds to the charm of this beach. You have plentiful hiking trails and paddling on Spokane River that can be very exhilarating. There's just that bit more besides the beach.
Sanders Beach close by is big draw too. If you happen to get interested don't miss the French Gulch or Bennet Bay. Let the explorer in you get busy with lots more cool outdoors stuff. Sparkling waters and the lovely Idaho coastline will leave you feeling enchanted. Silver Beach is a relaxing place that may completely rejuvenate you. Not to mention all the other activities that will keep your energy levels high.
