Kaumahina State Wayside is a 7.8 acre site which provides a scenic, forested rest stop for travelers along the Hana Highway on the northern Maui coast.Kaumahina State Wayside provides covered picnic facilities as well as a beautiful scenic overlook of the Keanae Peninsula and the north Maui coastline. A couple of loop trails lead up from the ocean. A eucalyptus grove provides shade for this wayside park, which also contains a variety of other exotic plants. The site does not offer drinking water but does offer a porta potty as toilet facilities.
