The Hawaii mountains are stunning to see and thrilling to climb. From the rough and rugged peaks of Mauna Loa and its sister Mauna Kea to the tropical splendor of the rocky Waimea Canyon, the soaring volcanic peaks of the Hawaiian mountains are as beautiful as the islands’ many beaches.

Mauna Loa:
Mauna Loa is most famous for the enormous crater at it’s towering, frequently snow-capped summit.

Mauna Kea:
Mauna Kea is the tallest mountain in Hawaii, and its peak sees several feet of snow in the winter.
