Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge

Wolf Island is as pristine as Georgia’s coastal lands get, and very well protected. No real public activity takes place on the marshlands or beaches within the three islands: Egg, Little Egg, and Wolf.

But there are a ton of things to do off the coastline. Various marinas line the mainland and offer charter fishing and recreational water vehicle rentals. The saltwater fishing is extremely good, and draws thousands annually. Nearby Savannah is a beautiful example of Georgia onshore activity and definitely worth a stop.
