Sitton's Cave is located in Cloudland Canyon State Park. This Georgia State Park is mainly a deep gorge cut into the sandstone by Sitton Gulch Creek. It is a wild cave, but it is accessible and open to the public.

Sitton's Cave features a huge entrance portal but soon narrows to a 50cm high muddy crawl before opening up again. Sitton's Cave is a river cave. Visitors must walk in cold water most of the time until a siphon is reached, which is the end of the line for spelunkers.

Sitton's Cave features many interesting formations, but the cave is dangerous and requires appropriate equipment, including warm clothes, neoprene, overalls, helmet,s waterproof lamps (at least 2) and rubber boots. Visitors should always talk to the rangers and tell them when you intend to be back.
