Torreya State Park

Florida Home | Florida Sitemap
Like most Florida state parks, Torreya offers rarities almost exclusively native to the southernmost state. Over one hundred species of birds are dotted around these parts, making bird watching a popular activity.

The system of trails is also a draw. Challenging treks through lush vegetation and scenic bluffs await those brave enough to take on the winding miles. While exploring, you should keep an eye out for the scarce Torreya, a type of tree that only grows in the bluffs within the park grounds.
