Florida nature and wildlife. Red Reef Park is a 67 acre ocean front

play areas, it has everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach.
The beach is also know for its superb snorkeling around the rock formations
at the parks south end. Fishing is only permitted during the evening
when there is no swimming. There is also a nature trail through the

beach.
Across A1A is the Gumbo Limbo Education Center. With 20 acres of coastal
hammock and mangrove wetlands, it is a haven for local birds and Florida
wildlife. There is a boardwalk over these areas that give visitors an
up close look at the habitats. The nature center has a large interpretive
center with interactive displays, aquariums, butterfly garden and many
other interesting things to see and do. Evening and afternoon nature
programs are ongoing and include releases of hatchling turtles, sea
