Located on the north side of the Jupiter
Inlet among the upscale high-rises, Coral Cove Park in Tequesta, Florida
is a quiet retreat. The beach is reached from a boardwalk which traverses
the sand dunes which is covered in a tangle of sea grapes. The park
is home to a 2 acre artificial reef project that is easily reached from
shore. Visitors enjoy snorkeling around the rock formations which are
a haven for various species of tropical fish.
The park has additional frontage on the intra-coastal waterway across
the street from the beach, complete with several benches and tables.
A playground, Florida saltwater fishing, picnic areas and abundant parking
make this one of the best out-of-the-way Florida beaches for those seeking
a quiet day at the beach.
The park is open from sunrise to sunset and no alcohol is permitted.
Those looking to do some Florida surfing can do so, just not in guarded
swimming areas. |
