Hidden and quiet, Atlantic Dunes is a good
place for the true beach lover, and good day-trip for a Florida family
vacation. The park is located in Delray Beach, Florida. Although Atlantic
Dunes is a very small park, it is perfect for visitors looking for a
quiet, relaxing alternative to the more crowded and rowdy Florida beaches.
There are several benches scattered about Atlantic Dunes Park, though
the favorite spot for beachcombers to take a load of is the covered
sitting area nestled under the shade and protection of the beaches distinctive
Giant Australian Pines. For those who really do enjoy long walks on
the beach there is a classic boardwalk overlooking the sand and surf.
The beach itself is an extremely wide stretch of clean and powdery sand.
