Florida is a little bit country, a little bit salsa, a strange but (usually) happy mix of American deep-south and tropical paradise. The state’s 1250 miles of coastline is rife with beaches that offer year round access to every conceivable kind of water sport/activity outside of ice fishing. Everglades National Park offers visitors a chance to see Florida’s wonderful wetlands and all they entail, while Miami provides Latin beats and urban culture.
