Florida is a little bit country, a little bit salsa, a strange but (usually) happy mix of American deep-south and tropical paradise. The state’s 1250 miles of coastline is rife with beaches that offer year round access to every conceivable kind of water sport/activity outside of ice fishing. Everglades National Park offers visitors a chance to see Florida’s wonderful wetlands and all they entail, while Miami provides Latin beats and urban culture. If you can’t find some way to enjoy yourself in Florida, then you must really love ice fishing.
