Beach at Cape Henlopen
This cape offers another prime opportunity to become acquainted with and educated about Delaware’s natural attractions. Six miles of Atlantic beaches can be traversed here, as well as inland, wooded trails, interpretive programs and various activities.

The Coastal Heritage Greenway and the Pinelands Trail offer traversing, ever-changing paths in and out of the park. You may not always notice the transition, but the landscape can go from wind-swept dunes to thick inland backwoods with very little warning. Although some of the scenery has been altered by man with non-native plants and trees, the vegetation still flourishes, surrounding hikers and sightseers.
