Slaughter Beach

The main attraction of Delaware are the beaches which are popular as well as completely enjoyable. Known for its pretty section of coast, being in the Slaughter beach gives delightful experience. It is the small town in in the Sussex County in the Seaford metro area.

It has one of the unique wooden frame Mispillion lighthouse still standing tall which overlooks the Cedar Creek and Mispillion River. The water is serene with beautiful panoramic view. Abound with all the beach activities, but is less crowded. People love the tranquil atmosphere of this place.

Hotels are not near the beach but if you are making an overnight stay, you have to book hotel. There are campgrounds to park your RV which are on the best locales. Apart from the several activities on the beach the main attraction remains the Milford Neck Wildlife Area known as bird watching area.

Slaughter Beach is also known for the horseshoe crabs which come in large numbers to lay eggs on the beaches and birds stop over to eat their eggs, making it a place for bird watching. The beach has become an important area for the continued survival of horseshoe crab with its sanctuary. This place with soothing atmosphere will definitely give you immense pleasure, and a vacation in true sense.
