Tourists places have something very distinct and appealing, that makes tourist get carried away to these places. Fenwick island is known for its spectacular sunrise over the ocean and amazing sunset over the bay. It does not has the cosmopolitan appeal of Rehoboth beach nor it is crowded like the Dewey beach and quiet like Bethanies.

The Beach is less crowded but more fun to be there. The mere mention of Fenwick Island Beach which is located in the in the southeast Delaware of Bethany beach resort town surges lots of excitement in the people.

The Atlantic Ocean shores is great for swimming and sunbathing. The wave currents are strong here, should be careful when children are along but are good for surfing. The designated surf area is ideal for adventure seekers and conducive spot for surf fishing.

The stretch of ocean provides unspoiled sandy beach which is uncrowded and offers water sports enthusiast opportunity to explore nature by boat, sail, or a row boat. The guarded beach boasts of all the recreational activities that one can imagine to be happening on the beach. Apart from relaxing on the beach one can enjoy swimming, walking on the beach, surfing, surffishing, beachcombing and sun bathing.

The Little Assawoman Bay adds more fun which has few water sports possibilities like kayaking, windsurfing, skiing, sailing, boating and fishing. During off season the beaches are almost isolated but good place for those who enjoy being on the secluded beaches.
