Bethany Beach in the southeastern
corner of the state of Delaware provides numerous recreational
opportunities, including Delaware fishing, swimming, surfing and
body-boarding. The ocean stays warm enough for swimming from late
May through early October. Bethany Beaches bay-side provides safe
places for sailing, windsurfing, jet skis, fishing, crabbing,
water skiing and boating.
Bethany Beach also features shops, restaurants,
basketball and volleyball courts, video arcades and a picturesque 1/2-mile
long boardwalk.
During the summer season there are several
events to enjoy at Bethany Beach such as the frequent concerts and performances
on boardwalk, the annual 4th of July Parade and the Bethany-Fenwick
Chamber of Commerce's annual Boardwalk Arts Festival. |
