Delaware Historical Attractions Hale Byrnes House Kent County Courthouse The Patty Cannon House
Built in 1765 in Lewes, the historical Cannonball House Marine Museum (commonly called as David Rowland house) was honored by state of Delaware as it had a connection with 1813 British bombardment. The scars, where the canon ball hit the house during the bombardment can be seen. It also presents Delaware marine historic documents, the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse, river-pilot homes, life-saving stations. Lightship Overfalls, Lewes Historical Complex, Maull House, De Vries Monument, Zwaanendael Museum, Nassau Valley Vineyards & Winery are the other point of interest in & around Lewes.
Cannonball House Marine Museum
<div>The Lewes Historical Society Complex consists of five buildings that have been moved to this site and restored to preserve the ‘Old Lewes’ character for generations to come. Tours and tickets are available for visiting these structures which include the Burton-Ingram House, Rabbits Ferry House, Thompson Country Store, Plank House and Doctor’s Office.</div>
