Ski Sundown is situated in the northwest corner of Connecticut.

Whether you are a first-timer or a lifelong enthusiast, you will find 15 trails and terrain to challenge your abilities.

Take in the scenery on a leisurely one-mile loop down Tom's Treat or thrill to the twists and turns of Temptor as it tumbles down the mountain. Challenge yourself to the bumps or a wide straight shot down Gunbarrel's 625-foot vertical drop.

Although Ski Sundown is located in Connecticut's snowbelt, it is complemented by 100 percent snowmaking coverage and operates the largest grooming fleet in the region.

The Base Lodge offers a ski shop, repairs, cafeteria and lounge, and a large, sunny deck. There are plenty of apres ski and lodging accommodations available in nearby towns.

Sundown is conveniently located just 2 miles northeast of New Hartford, Connecticut, off Route 219. Follow Route 44 to Route 219 and Ski Sundown.

Getting to Ski Sundown:

From Hartford

Take I-84 west, 1 mile. At W Hartford turn off onto route 44 NW, 12 miles. At Avon bear left onto route 202 west, 5 miles. Take the route 44 west, 3 miles. Take the local road 3 miles to Ski Sundown
