Connecticut State Parks offer a variety of experiences that equal
outdoor adventure and family fun. The kids will love the enormous
statues and genuine fossilized footprints at Dinosaur
State Park. For some lovely Connecticut hiking it’s
hard to beat the many trails of Bigelow
Hollow.

Hollow State Park:
With an 18 acre pond and Nipmuck Forest
to enjoy, this is one full Hollow.
Dinosaur
State Park:
Learn more about the great beasts that once roamed
the region at this edutainment area.
Pachaug
State Forest:
Fishing and kayaking are popular in the forest’s
28,500 acres, and the park is home to native Giant Rhododendrons.
Tunxis State Forest:
Located in the Northwest corner of the state,
this is a wonderful hiking park. |
