Overview ofCampbell Falls State Park Reserve- Facts,Trivia,and Historical Information : Campbell Falls State Park is a natural area with no developed facilities and plenty of Geology and Natural features. History- Campbell Falls State Park Reserve was a gift to the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from the White Memorial Foundation of Litchfield Connecticut. The Whiting River, rising in Massachusetts falls nearly 100 feet before entering Connecticut. The park was placed under protection of the two states in 1923 and special laws were passed in 1924 to authorize the cooperation in care and maintenance of the park.

Services,Activities,Amenities,Attractions in (Campbell Falls State Park Reserve): Hiking- There are numerous well beaten paths throughout the forest upon which a hike is possible. Pets on a leash are allowed inside the park. Bridges have been installed to make hiking easier, and many geological features can be viewed along the way. (See site for Geological details.) Stream Fishing- Small stream fishing on a limited basis is avaliable.
