Overview ofBoyd Lake State Park- Facts,Trivia,and Historical Information : Boyd Lake State Park has something for all types of water recreationists in every season: boating, fishing and swimming in the summer and ice fishing and lake-side hiking in the winter. All types of water craft- ski boats, fishing boats, personal water crafts, sailboats, canoes--use Boyd's 1,700 surface-acres of water in the spring through fall. Boyd also has a sandy beach and pavillion (including coffeeshop) for swimmers. Boyd also has a modern campground with 148 paved pull-through sites. Boyd Lake State Park is proud to be a premiere recreational facility of the Front Range area. From outdoor concerts, to some of Colorado's best fishing, it can all be found at Boyd Lake State Park.
