The Rio Grande will appeal to just about everyone, minus the pumped-up danger seeker in the bunch. The rapids through Colorado are quite placid and provide a nice backdrop for an easy float. Wildlife bounces along the banks, keep an eye out for elk, beaver, and muskrats, as well as eagles and hawks in the surrounding trees.

Be careful not to float too far. The waters change up drastically once the Rio Grande hits New Mexico.
