Outdoor adventure reaches yet another level as you peep through the four national parks in Colorado. Some of the national parks in the state are unbeatable for the great amount of activities it offers and also for its natural bounty and rich culture. Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park has it all from hiking to rafting. Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve contains the tallest sand dunes in America. Mese Verde National Park has preserved and displayed extensive archaeological remains. The Fossil Beds National Monument takes the stride back in the past. The beds are a result of a volcanic eruption that took place onsite some 30 million years ago.
