This championship course was built on relatively hilly terrain and is surrounded by mountains. Water hazards come into play at least ten times. Most of the fairways are narrow, demanding shot accuracy. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and also rated it as the 16th "Best in State" course for 1997-98.
