Colorado certainly has a claim on year-round outdoor adventure. Summer
is considered the “tourist season” and the state sees lots
of visitors at this time, so one can expect tourist season prices to
match all the tourist season amenities. Big game season is in the fall,
so hunters flood the state when the leaves start to change. Winter is
the real star in Colorado, however, thanks to the state’s famous
snowy mountain ranges. Ski season is big here during the winter months,
and with good reason; the slopes are some of the best in the world.
Skier should be prepared for crowds, though, and keep a sharp eye out
for bargains, because rates can be a steep as the slopes.
