Home to the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor, this building is intentionally similar to the United States Capitol Monument. Built during the 1890s, this historic building is having a distinctive gold dome made of a real gold plate which was added in 1908 to commemorate the Colorado Gold Rush.
