Events are the way of life in Colorado. It organizes distinctly styled events as Rodeos, concerts, arts and crafts festival, wine and beer festivals and hordes of other happening things almost every day of the year. Boulder Fine Arts and Crafts Fair is an interesting event held every month at Colorado’s biggest and the best Farmers Market. It presents some great exhibits and reflects the changing patterns in the art and craft fraternity. Colorado has also been referred as the Napa Valley of Beer and the Colorado Beer Week has been started to mark this dignified status. During Colorado Beer Week best of ales and celebrated lagers are served in restaurants, bars and number of drinking clubs around the state.

A Taste of Colorado

A Taste of Colorado is one of the largest annual events in Rocky Mountain region. The event is specially meant for kids who enjoy various delicacies presented here by different food joints, meal outlets and local restaurants. A host of entertainment activities are also organized during the festival, which runs for four days. Around 50 food booths along with seven stages for musical performances, arts and crafts stalls, carnival rides and various interactive exhibits make the event a bundle of fun. This apart, lots of educational programs are also taken up at the event. A Taste of Colorado is one such festival for which the kids eagerly wait, as it turns out be a wonderful end of summer for them.

Colorado Balloon Classic

Being organized since 1977, Colorado Balloon Classic is an annual hot air balloon event based at Colorado Springs. It is considered as Colorado’s largest air show and also longest running hot air balloon festival in the entire Rocky Mountain region. The event was started with an aim to bring the community closer and also draw a whole lot of national and international tourists. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the event. During the event the skies remain packed with flying colors. Hot air balloon rides and helicopter rides are also offered for the families visiting the event. The event also holds many special features for kids. All the earnings from this event are given to charity organizations.
