Stretching eastward from the Pacific Ocean to the border of Anza-Borrego Desert & northward from Mexican border to Camp Pendleton, the San Diego County is located in Southern California.

The reasons for this place to be a great recreation site for visitors are the white sandy beaches, the sandstone bluffs and the gentle surf. Besides, the numerous historic battlefields & natural preserves contribute largely to the widespread popularity of this County Region.

Apart from featuring the Cleveland Natural Forest, the San Diego County is also home to three state parks, two state historic parks, seven state beaches & one state reserve. Outdoor recreation activities that can be enjoyed in this region include, biking, camping, surf fishing, hiking, etc.
