Northstar-at-Tahoe is an all-season, family-oriented destination resort six miles from the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Northstar's Mount Pluto and Lookout Mountain offer 70 trails covering 2,420 acres of downhill variety ranging from gentle bowls to long, steeper runs serviced by a modern network of lifts to get you up the mountain fast. Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Center prides itself on being the only full destination ski resort in the Tahoe area to offer complete track, skating and telemark services for all ability levels as well as a professionally certified ski school. There are 50 km of cross-country trails and skating lanes with sweeping Sierra Nevada views.
