Mojave Preserve can seem quite desolate.
As far as desert based national preserves go, it is one of the livelier
and more variant, one area containing towering cliffs and the next lush
and rolling land.
To take in the whole region, it is probably necessary to spend a few
days in the midst of the Mojave National Preserve. Start out with a
scenic drive. Roll past engaging wildlife attractions and wildlife that
includes big horn sheep, deer, desert tortoise, and various birds. Hikes
are also encouraged to inspect vegetation a little further. Wildflowers
and Joshua trees exist in large concentrations throughout Mojave.
Regardless of how you plan to explore, make sure you keep moving. Onsite
campgrounds keep you close to the action if you must take a break. Time
wasted here is an opportunity missed. There are tons of noteworthy sites,
wildlife, and foliage to take in, so make haste!
