Directions
to Santa Cruz Creek:
From Highway l0l at west end of Santa Barbara turn north on Highway 154 (San Marcos Pass Road) for about l2 miles, then go east on Paradise Road to the Santa Ynez Recreation Area. From Upper Oso Campground, it is approximately a 12-mile hike to the northeast edge of the San Rafael Wilderness, at Santa Cruz Camp. Access to the Santa Ynez Recreation Area is at times restricted because of high water or when deemed necessary for resource protection.
