Information on Sand Dollar Beach - Big Sur Coast:
There is approximately 5 to 6 miles of coastline to fish in the area. There are several State and private campgrounds and facilities along this section of the Monterey Coast. The Forest Service offers day use activities at Pfeiffer Beach, Mill Creek, Willow Creek and Sand Dollar Beach and camping at Plaskett and Kirk Creek campgrounds. Plaskett Creek Campground is located on the east side of Highway 1 within a mile from Sand Dollar Beach Day Use Area.

The road to Sand Dollar Beach is off Highway 1 approximately 30 miles south of the town of Big Sur.
