Mammoth Pool Reservoir, 3,300 feet in elevation, is located on the San Joaquin River, 90 miles northeast of Fresno, via Hwy 41, Road 200 to North Fork and the Minarets Road to Mammoth Pool. Mammoth Pool Reservoir is closed to the public and fishing from May 1 until June 16 due to deer migration. 5 per day limit , 10 in possession.
