Information on Jackson Lake:
Located approximately 3 miles from Big Pines, on Big Pines Highway. This lake offers fishing and boating for non-motorized craft only. Not recommended for swimming or water play. A picnic area is provided, and many campgrounds are close by. A National Forest Adventure Pass is required for vehicles parked in this area. To locate the National Forest Adventure Pass vendor closest to you call your local Forest Service office or go to the Adventure Pass Vendor list at this website. Call the Forest Service at (661) 944-2187 for more information. No fishing is allowed in Morris, Cogswell, Big Tujunga, Pacoima, or Bouquet Reservoirs.
