Information on Indian Tom Reservoir
Information on Indian Tom Reservoir:
This reservoir is a medium sized reservoir adjacent to Highway 97, near the Oregon border and just north of the town of Dorris, California. It is a weedy and relatively shallow alkaline lake that supports the only cutthroat trout fishery in the county. Local fisherman jokingly call it the lake of a thousand casts because the action can be aggravatingly slow at times. However, the cutthroats run big and are worth the times spent casting.
