To reach the area: drive 15 miles east of Placerville on Hwy 50, 5 miles southeast of Pollock Pines on Sly Park Road, 10 miles east on Mormon Emigrant Trail, turn south on south on North/South Road. The road crosses the creek approximately 3 miles in.
