There really isn’t much you can’t do in California. It’s a state with more than its share of mountain ski resorts, ancient forests, lovely beach towns, baking deserts and global cities. Outdoors adventure is everywhere you turn in California. Whether you're thinking of hiking and camping in the incomparable Yosemite National park, boating on Lake Tahoe, gazing on the magnificent Giant Sequoias or simply bumming around the Napa Valley looking for just the right wine for that wheel of cheese in your picnic basket, California is the place to be. Oh, and in case you forgot, there’s still a few sleepy little hamlets like San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles to explore. This could take a while.
