HEALDSBURG MEMORIAL BEACH: Located on the Russian River, this
beach has full picnic facilities, restrooms and a man-made swimming
beach. Healdsburg is solely a recreational park, open only during
from sunrise to the posted closing time. Fees are: $6 per vehicle
for day use, Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend through the Sunday
after Labor Day. At every other time, the fees are $5. Special
rates apply to buses or trucks carrying more than 9 people.
The swim area is usually available to the public from Memorial
Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Visitors planning to use the
beach should call (707) 433-1625 to verify that the beach is open.
Lifeguards are on duty daily during the summer months only. Swimmers
are urged to swim only when lifeguards are on duty. We recommend
that you arrive early. The parking lot usually fills up by mid-day.
Off-street parking is available nearby. This is a great place
for simple family picnic and water fun.
