RIO DEL MAR BEACH: This beach is known
for its wide, long strip of clean sand and is a favorite place for dog
lovers to walk their dogs on leashes. This area has become very popular
for short-term vacation beach rentals, and is a favored beach for family
activities during the summer months. There are nearby shopping and restaurants
and Lifeguards in the summer.

CLIMATE: The weather is changeable, layered
clothing is advised. The temperatures can vary from moderate to chilly
and sunny to foggy in a matter of moments.
ACTIVITIES: Long walks, dog walking, Frisbee, picnics, and it is a good
beach for sun bathing.
