New York Flamenco Festival: Truly A Heart Throbbing Performance

New York city is hub of events and entertainment, with major events taking place throughout the year. This year World Music Institute & Flamenco Inc is presenting this year New York’s annual Flamenco celebration- The Biggest Dance Event in the New York City from 19-22 February on the New York’s City Center.

I hope you still remember Gades classic ‘Carmen’. To see again live on the stage The acclaimed and well renowned Antonio Gades Company has come up with the rocking performance of the classic Carmen. Known for presenting great dancers and choreographer’s masterpieces, the Gades Company features award winning and truly deserving performers along with the Carmen star Stella Arauzo, Adrian Galia, Christina Hoyos and Enrique Morente.

This four day music and dance festival with different performances will definitely take you to the different world of trance. On February 19 & 20, the classic ‘Carmen’ performance will be scheduled, whereas on February 21 & 22 the electrifying performance of Spanish Gypsy Art will be presented by Los Farruco, the first family of Flamenco dance.

Flamenco dance is the legacy of the Los Farruco family which has been passed on from generations. You will see the whole family presenting the traditional Flamenco dance with the same grace and elegance with which their forefathers performed. It is worth watching.
