The Heritage festival goes hand in hand with the the Jazz Fest. To one side people are seen enjoying live music & to the other side we see people enjoying the authentic Creole & Cajun cuisine, and the international cuisine which has highly influenced the Louisiana food.
There is a long list of food items & savories that have become the part of culinary culture of New Orleans. For the past four decades Jazz Fest has grown popular not only for its music but also for its food with mind blowing taste & crafts that show the mastered & skilled craftsmanship.
The irresistible menu will be seen in the following areas, Food Area I, Food Area II, Congo Square, Heritage Square, Around The Grounds, Folk Area, Grandstand & Kids Food. It is entirely your choice, were you want to land to get your favorite food.
Craft too has its own charm, such creative things are displayed that you cannot take your eyes off from it. We come across beautiful beaded costumes, hand crafted musical instruments, hand blown glass vases, charming & delicate jewelery, several breathtaking photographs, paintings & sculptures. The Artists Tents will be a tryst to Louisiana culture, traditions & heritage for the festival-goers.
The Artists Tent will be seen on both the weekends along with Tent F & Tent E. If you are heading towards New Orleans I must not say that you should go for it, as any person gets carried away to this most captivating place.
