19th Annual Autumn Moon Festval Street fair Chinatown, SF

We all know the Chinatown of San Francisco, California gives us the true feeling and essence of China. The world revolves round the Chinese cultures and traditions. Every Chinese festivals are celebrated here with the same gusto and fervor as of China.

Apart from Chinese New Year Celebration, Autumn Moon Festival is another big event celebrated in Chinatown. The event depicts the several cultural assets of the community. It is Chinatown’s most attended festival which comprises of music, cuisine and culture.

The celebration will include stage performances throughout Chinatown, the Asian-themed dancers, drummers, traditional and contemporary musicians, martial artists and musicians will make the audience spell bound with their performances.

Any Chinese celebration is incomplete without the lion dance which will take place after every hour along the famous Grant Avenue. The street vendors will have in abundance of stock right from plants to housewares, clothes and souvenirs in view of the celebration. Also there would several tempting offers, various activities, arts and crafts and not to forget on the main route.
