Kings River
Located in northern Arkansas, Buffalo River is the first National River in the United States. This River is one of the free flowing rivers popularly known for its diversity of speeds and water depths. It flows within the boundaries of the National Park Service, Newton, Marion, Baxter and Searcy counties from west to each. It creates a scenic beauty originating in the highest part of Boston Mountains and out onto the Springfield Plateau.
