It offers more than 100 campsites, over 2 dozens of recreation areas and more than 200 islands and great number of swimming spots. Lake Quachita, recognized as one of the cleanest lakes in America, is spread in 40,000 acres and stretches upto 30 miles. Camping enthusiasts indulge in water skiing, scuba diving and boating. Anglers have their day of fun catching bream, catfish, largemouth bass and stripers. Denby Point on the banks of lake is the one of the most preferable campsites in this park. Bald Eagles are commonly sighted here during winter.

  • Crowley’s Ridge State Park
Crowley’s Ridge State Park is located amidst dense hilly forests, northeast of Arkansas. During 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps have created fine stone structures and carved native architectural designs, which are still among the major attractions of this park. It is named after Benjamin Crowley who is regarded as the first settler in the area. The park is as rustic as it is filled with ultra modern facilities. Fully equipped large cabins with kitchen area and bath spaces are provided at 26 campsites in this park. It comprises 31 acre water body serving as an ideal fishing spot, swimming lake in more than 3 acres, beautiful trails and a fine bar.
