The Eureka Springs area in Arkansas has two scenic rivers, one gorgeous lake and a nice stretch of the Ozark Mountains in which to enjoy outdoor adventures. The Kings River has 90 miles of navigable wilderness to explore, and is one of only 5 north-flowing rivers in the United States.

The real crown jewel, however, is the stunning Cosmic Cavern. The rock and mineral formations in this surreal underground cathedral possess and eerie beauty that defies description. Equally astounding are the pair of subterranean lakes where albino trout and blind cave salamanders live in waters whose bottom has yet to be discovered.
