Well known for its swimming and picnicking opportunities, facilities here include 19 campsites with electricity, 8 tent-only sites, 36 picnic sites and 2 group campgrounds. But its all the whitewater paddling here that makes for the most fun.

Get drenched paddling on South Fourche LaFave and do go to Narrow Creek when you are at Lake Sylvia. These cool options around here add to the fun. You could simply enjoy watching the peak of Chinquapin Mountain even as you swim or splash on Lake Sylvia in complete abandon.

Facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis from mid-spring to early-fall. May is the month that gets the most rain and January is the driest month. If you plan it well this outdoors exciting spot offers a great weekend outing in one of the best spots in Arkansas.

Anglers will be happy to note that motors are not allowed on the lake that has the best catches for channel catfish here. The place is great for the simple water pleasures like swimming and picnicking on the beach. Amenities include accessible flush toilets, warm showers and RV parking.
