The Grand Canyon State of Arizona is home to a total of nine National Wildlife Refuges. These refuges in addition to protecting & preserving millions of acres of outdoor recreation also provide acres of habitat to a variety of species of birds & mammals. From the Buenos Aires NWR in southern Arizona to the Cibola NWR near Colorado River, the US state of Arizona is dotted with several wildlife refuges.
